I finally managed to get this piece of electrical junk to work. It might need some more adjustments later. At least I can charge it up with my batteries, which I need to charge up as well. It has been raining for what feels like an eternity, and because of that the solar panels are a no go, the windmill do provide some electricity, maybe I can make some sort of makeshift watermill in the river nearby. That will require some more planning, and some extra hands, I'm no engineer. And I can't forget the materials that I would need to collect. Ah.. plans for the future me. Not gonna do that now.

Well... since this old computer actually works, I might as use it for something or the only thing I can do, there is no internet here. Yes, writing... so creative of me! So there's the explanation. Call it a blog or a journal or whatever... Maybe someone in the future will find this and read this mess I'm leaving. Who knows. At least I can record the time passing by, and maybe not go absolutely mad sitting inside hiding from the rain. Maybe it will help me remember some stuff too as well...?

Ah... speaking of remembering... I need to stock up on tea leaves, I'm almost empty. Can't go a day without it, but I do have some herbs laying around somewhere, they might work until I go shopping. I do have coffee, but I would rather share that with those who prefer coffee over tea. Then the tea will last longer, after all neither of them are a commodity any more, and they cost a fortune to get a hold of.

This is a start at least. No idea if this is something I will continue to do... The battery is dying. So this is it for now. Lucky for me the rain has finally taken a break. I opened the window right now, and the smell of wet soil is wafting in. It's really clearing up and the sun is peaking through the clouds. I'm gonna head out now and really enjoy the smell of petrichor.
